The Papaeliou Schools of Foreign Languages was founded by Peter H. Papaeliou in 1955 and has been a leading establishment in the teaching of FL to Greek students ever since. Peter Papaeliou, an inspired and well known educator, had studied Education in Boston and Harvard Universities during the 1930s and had been the Dean of the Rallios Academy of Education during the 1940s and 1950s. He was a pioneer in the field of EFL and his work served to set the solid foundations of this school.
